Prednisone for treatment of AIG
I've just been started on Prednisone or Prednisolone, immunosuppressant steroids, for treatment of Autoimmune Gastritis/autoimmune PA. This has recently, within the last few years been shown to possibly heal AIG, although not entirely cure. It is also used to prevention immune system rejection of organ

Anti Covid treatments for the Immuno-compromised
Since last year, these patients – who primarily have blood cancers such as leukaemia, kidney disease or have had an

Hi, I've been invited to take part in a drug trial of mycophenolate in early stage Limited Systemic Scleroderma. It's being overseen by Prof Denton and Royal Free/ UCLH. I understand the drop is commonly used for people receiving organ transplants and in the diffuse cutaneous form of Sac, but the trial

interesting encounter
my spouse was at Costco recently and after shopping ate at the food court. Shared a table with another couple. They got to talking. Turns out the man had PBC! He had a liver transplant 23 years ago. Been doing Ok. They gave my spouse their phone numbers since I wasn’t there. Nice thing is he goes

I had a liver transplant in 2016 now last few years health isn't going great, and Dr wants to change my adoport to envarus, but my story is long. But just for now does envarus stop bad headaches, cause weight gain. Plus suffer low sodium levels and type 3c diabetic. That's me for now

Going back to work
I’m 6 weeks post kidney transplant. I’ve been given 8 weeks to return to work from my doctor. I was surprised at the limited time I had. I never really talked about going back till 12 weeks through my FMLA, but he thinks 8 weeks is enough. I work in a clinic with over 30 people and I’m concerned with
