Cyberknife Experience

We went to see my husband's oncologist yesterday, 6 weeks after the operation. The results of the CT scan were clear apart from the celiac? axis node which is enlarged. Apparently this was shown as enlarged on the original PET scan last September and should have been removed in the op but wasn't. They are asking for a PET scan now and saying they are not sure they will be able to remove the node. If they can't it will be palliative care only! I have seen good reports of the cyberknife being used in tricky situations. Do any of you have any experience of this please? Thanks

Chris

I believe that the experience of the surgeon is even more important than the equipment that they use when it comes down to a question of whether surgery is possible or not. I think it might be worthwhile for you to have a chat with Dawn on our helpline 0121 704 9860
