It is not for me, but someone asked who has been diagnosed with breast cancer, cant get insurance. I can't remember who I used 6 years ago week before my op, chemo before. Know they are out there. (Advised ringing the macmillan) I might have done where I got mine from.

Hi Cherry

After a friend of mine was diagnosed with Motor Nurone Disease she found a company called Karma Insurance who insured her, not sure if they are still around but you could google them.

Hope you are keeping well

From Barrett's Campaign website:

"The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) has a list of insurance brokers who are prepared to consider individual cases. Search the BIBA website ( biba.org.uk ) and follow the links to Term Life-Death in Service."

hi cherry

I used a company called staysure they were fantastic , I found them very cheap as i have had a heart bypass as well as cancer they covered me for everything.

Try this information from Macmillan:

Hi Cherry,

Quite often you get insurance with bank accounts or can add insurance on for a small fee. The insurance will not cover you for past/current conditions but will cover you for any new issues whilst on holiday. I wanted the insurance in case I broke a leg or something unrelated to my current condition.

Give your bank(s) a call and see what they can offer. I have a premier account with Barclays which provides my travel insurance as part of the account.

Regards,

Jay
