Why all these PPI are not working for me?

I have been diagnosed beginning of April with esophageal reflux, acid gastritis, duodenal ulcers and inflamed Xiphoid process. They gave me a steroid injection on my Xiphoid which aggravated the ulcers. Don’t ask me why they did that?! I took pantoprazole for three weeks didn’t help and now for a week I am taking omeprazole 40mg in the morning and 40mg in the evening. I don’t know if it is still too early to see any changes but the truth of the matter is that the symptoms remain. The Dr this week prescribed Mobic 7.5mg to help with the inflammation in case is still there and actually I felt an immediate relief. He suggested that I should take until there is no more pain which means the inflammation is gone and that way the omeprazole will start to have an effect. Will try this for another week and see. One of the things that I also have helped me is a bit of baking powder and apple cider vinegar in a warm glass of water.

I hope all of you are feeling much better by now!

If you have not got any relief from these meds so far then they will not work further.

Early dinner is the best solution.
