Hi there, I had a Nissen fund surgery done 12 weeks ago. What is troubling me after post op is every day i have to keep clearing my throat most of the time. Around twice a week i have a sore throat for awhile, i am just wondering if this is normal and if anyone else has experience this after post op as I'm worried this surgery wasn't successful. if anyone can help, that would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Note: i'm not taking any medication at the moment.

Had N360 sept17 st thoms in london. I still tablet and reflux free. Cant say ive had your throat probs but will recount my experience for u. Ive still got a swallowing issue .. scarring from acid reflux narrowed my oesoph and as a result my oesoph is funnell shaped due to food backing up .. at its widest mines 10x a normal oesoph. Im being lined up for a procedure .. i think .. to loosen my nissen wrap to help food flow down easier and hopefully my oesoph shrinks back to normal. How good to be tablet free. Best of luck with the throat you prob should go and see doc. Cheers. G
