Hi everyone

Just been diagnosed with the above. Just wondering if anyone been diagnosed with it too. I had lingual tonsillectomy 3 years ago but terrible throat/ear pain, difficulty swallowing, dizziness and constant feeling of something stuck in back of my throat. Ent did a ct scan a year ago but discharged me as it was normal! I requested I be put back on the ent list as was in a lot of pain and that I wanted another ct scan in the future, of which this showed hyoid bone rt side 40mm should be 30mm and calcified and that scar tissue from operation was wrapping around it. Surgeon reluctant to operate yet and do a watch an wait next 6 months. I would appreciate any info on this diagnosis. Thanks.

We'll wait and see of anybody can help, but I think it might be better to try a group that is much more related to problems much nearer the throat and jaw? Or laryngo-pharyngeal complaints possibly?
