Hi every one I had camera done two months ago they find 2 cm haital hernia in there I'm having acid reflux pain in stumoch bloating can't sleep last three months no madication really help any one can help avoid all spicy food tryevrything all other test fine what shall I do many thanks

It is probably best to return to your GP, who should have a report available from the endoscopy (the camera test). Hiatus hernia is a common condition but it can, as you know, be very uncomfortable.

Avoiding spicy food and anything that gives too much reflux would be a good thing. Try sleeping propped up at night. Try taking Gaviscon Advance to give temporary relief from the reflux pain.

Thanks alanm I try everything but nothing work properly just for little bit and doctore said they can't do anything because it's only 2 cm

Has anyone suggested surgery. It (the tear) could get larger with all sorts of other complications brought into play.

Hi

.. elevate head of bed

.. dont eat late

.. final meal of day = not large portion

.. see dr about meds (ppis or h2 blockers)

.. see dr about HH op (explore nissen fundiplication .. lynx (less invasive))

Try everything nothing work can't sleep at all it's been three months know nusa vomit sometimes pain aswell
