I am at home visiting my mom. My fiancé spoke to a Dr who specializes in supplements to help cancer patients. You continue with your medication etc. Anyone tried out supplements eg Alpha Lipoic

Selenium

Glutathione

L Lysine

L Arginine

L Carnitine

Multivitamin drink

Supplements probably do not do any harm but it is always best to ask the doctor about any chemical effects that might counteract other medication, and it is probably best to consider these things as complementary rather than replacing conventional treatments.

Thank you. Yes, we are continuing with normal medication, attending reviews, getting scans done etc.

I have taken BioCare one-a-day multivitamins and minerals for the last 9 years. They are specifically formulated to provide nutritional support for cancer patients. I get them online from the Penny Brohn Shop (shopatpennybrohn.com). It's impossible to say whether they've helped, but they certainly have not done me any harm, and I have generally made a good recovery since my surgery in 2007.
