Would you enjoy singing?

Lots of people affected by cancer get great enjoyment from singing in a choir, like tenovuscancercare.org.uk You can call

0808 808 1010 free for 365 days a year. And, if you live that way, you could join the Guildford choir. They meet every Monday 6.30pm - 8pm at All Saints Church, Onslow Village, Guildford GU2 7QJ (free parking).

I cannot upload their leaflet on tho this site, but it does show a group of people really enjoying themselves, and it says:

Singing is a powerful force. It unites people, improves well-being and it makes you happier. The best bit is, everybody can sing - even if you don't think you can!

Our Sing With us choirs are for anyone affected by cancer. We have a choir near you and new people are joining us all the time. Pop along whenever you like, for a sing and a cuppa.

I can highly recommend singing for lifting your spirits and a general feeling of well being. I joined Rock Choir just over 3 years ago and it was the best thing I did after recovering from cancer. There are now many Rock Choirs around the country and you can try the first session for free. Go to rockchoir.com for information about the choir near you. You don't audition and there are fantastic opportunities to perform if you want to. The best experience so far me was when we recorded a few songs at Abbey Road!
