Wondering if anyone else is suffering from mouth ulcers? I was finding that I could not eat any spicy foods or onions...lets just say that food was not the most exciting treat.

Well I've had an IV iron infusion a month ago and no longer suffer from mouth ulcers!

Hope you are otherwise keeping well, Jay!

On the basis that mouth ulcers can be caused by iron deficiency / anaemia it sounds consistent that the infusion might have cleared them up for that reason.

I guess that it shows the importance of monitoring vitamin and mineral levels even quite a long time after the surgery.

Kindest regards

Alan
