Feeling ill

I had Ivor Lewis esophageal surgery 11 months ago. I am ready to go for my sixth dilation.

I have probably only had 5-10 days over that time period where I have felt well. Anyone else

have the same problem.

For me , it depends on what you mean by feeling well.

It used to mean feeling great, now it means not actually in pain or about to vomit. We're not what we used to be.

hiya, had my Ivor Lewis more than 5 years ago now and since then had more dillations than i care to remember, my symtoms for wanting a dillation was food backing up and causing nausea....i had a slight Hiatus Hernia long time before my Ivor Lewis and gave no problems until i had an operation to put this right nearly 2 years ago and a presto havent needed a dillation since....maybe it might be worth checking this out with your consultant....hope this maybe of help.
