Dear Linc005 - A very merry Christmas to you too! Well done for surviving four years after such invasive surgery, I very much admire you as it is a dastardly operation and needs so much strength and courage to regain a new life. Unfortunately my husband didn't make it so it really cheers my soul to know that many people do. There are new developments in early diagnosis and treatment all the time so I am confident that, one day, this dreadful disease will be beaten. Have a lovely Christmas but don't eat too many mince pies, you know what happens if you do !!!!!! xx

And a very happy Christmas to you..and a lot more to come. My hubby is 4 yrs post op and didn't think he'd live to Christmas that first year. Its only been this year that he had started looking forward to things. Things are starting to look up x

Hi All,

My 8th Christmas since surgery.

Wishing everyone a happy Christmas this year and many more for all.

My New Year wish is for the breakthrough in research for early diagnoses, genome & DNA research is getting exciting but still early days.

Kindest regards,

Dave C

Fantastic Linc and all the rest of you, it is so good to see so many survivors, whilst thinking of all those that didn't make it.

I'm 19 months post surgery, and so grateful to be here, two years ago I didn't think I would be.

Life is almost back to normal -work, gym, walking.... But eating is still a challenge, still having child portions and some dumping experiences... But easily addressed by frequent grazing.

Like other posters, just beginning to think beyond tomorrow...cautiously.

Wishing you all a happy Christmas and a HEALTHY new year.

Love and cwtchs, Hilary

Hilary, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas. But can you tell me what cwtchs are? I'm sure they're lovely, but are they cuddles or kisses or what? I've wondered for ages. X
