Hi all, someone said it is helpful to keep writing down the obsessions on the paper repetitively when you have obessions thoughts until it disappear. Meanwhile, spending 45mins everyday to listen to your obsessions-sound recording repetitively also works. Did you try this before? Is that true?

I haven't, no - though it can help to write out how you feel. The thought of listening to my obsessions on a sound recording for 45 minutes every day sounds very boring! I have been taught to make a list of repetitive or compulsive actions and try to eliminate them, starting with the ones that cause the least stress. If anyone else has experience of these therapies, and they have worked, I'd be interested in knowing about it!
