Morning everyone hope your weather is as glorious as ours in Somerset UK. I have my first appointment with the Orthopaedic Surgeon on Wednesday for my very painful hip and back (waited nearly 2 years for this). I figured they nearly always ask you what you expect from the treatment, thought about and came up with "much less pain and being able to walk".
Any advice on what I should ask him?

Hopefully he will explain what he is going to do and what you should expect during and after operation. You will get post operation guidance from physios and a lot more info from the pre-op assessment appointment.
But if there is anything specifically worrying you about the op - then ask.
