Hibiscus tea for coughs and colds

Who has a cough? Several of my clients are suffering with coughs and sniffles. I advise mugs of hibiscus tea to help. This acts to soothe the throat and helps boost vitamin C levels as the dried flowers are high in vitamin C. It has the added bonus of helping to lower blood pressure so useful for hyper-tensive patients too. Allow to brew for a few minutes until a deep ruby red and sip away.

Thanks Ciara - I can vouch that this is a delicious way to soothe a cold/cough. I've also appreciated your advice to take echinacea garlic shots - chopped garlic drunk like a shot in water. Plus steaming, gargling propolis and resting.... thanks for encouraging us all to keep well in winter.
