Wine & Methotrexate - how irresponsible!

I have found it makes me feel no worse. Still have nausea, wine or no wine. Only lasts 24 hours now I am on the mtxt injections, was far worse on the 8 tablets, lasted about 4 days.

Hope the wine makes you forget all about the RA, worth it if it does, even if only for a short while.

Red or White, since taken MTX and Humira gone to white Pinot normally.

I got a very metalic taste with red.

I have a glass or 2 every night it good for something I'm sure.

Luckily, to date I have suffered no ill effects from MTX, only fatigue for about 24 hours after take it. I used to love Red wine,but funnily enough I only drink white since diagnosis, the Red gives me palpatations now. I do like a glass of pinot grigio, I don't know about every night on mtx Tricia, what about your liver?

That's funny because I am usual a red wine type of gal but i find I can't drink. I never thought of trying the white what a ninny. A nice chardonnay ummmm...

You are right I have been close to the mark with my liver, but that was when I was still drinking red, at the moment my results are fairly good. i think my life style over the years has made my body used to it.

But, if ever I was told my bloods were a bit flaky I'd stop. No seeing spiders for me. Now after saying that my lovely hubby is taking me out for early dinner. so i might just have a small one.

Hi Friday is my Methotrexate day too. I take six tablets on Friday morning whoopee. Hate taking all those on top of my other meds I reckon I must rattle when I limp along.
