Prepping for christmas,is such hard work.

Hello everyone,i haven't blogged for a while. It has been what can i say, challenging. The more i try the harder it gets. A week last sunday i was down the hospital for my eyes as i think i have spoke about before. My psychio is now doing exercises on strenghing my ligaments round the knee. That was last friday. On saturday my family went to the birminham military tattoo which grace was in and her dad took her while i stayed home as it was such a long day. I went on sunday instead. So on the saturday morning my friend was going to tescos and asked me if i would like to go,which i did. I decided to walk round the store. I took it slowly round there and enjoyed doing a little bit of shopping on my own. By the time i got to the tills my knee for some reason decided it had had enough. It kept trying to let me down. So when i got home i rested my body. So after a nice rest i thought that with everyone out i would start to put the decorations on the ceiling. Two were easy to put up as they were on wires so i didn't need to get on a chair, but the problem was when i went to put the others up i found my knee didn't want to play,so i took the sensible way and sat down and left it until my hubby could put them up which he did this morning, bless him.

Last thursday was my hubbys retirement party in birmingham at the council house. There was a champagne reception and a three course meal, which was lovely. There was presentations to all the men who retired and the long service awards as well. They were all given crystal wine glasses and the ladies, we had a bouquet of flowers which was lovely. There was chocolates on the table with our names on. It was a long day, what with the journey home in all that bad weather,i was shattered. I rested up on friday. On sunday i went with hubby and my daughter to watch the tattoo. It was a lovely show. There is more i could add,but this is long enough already. By the time we got home i was so tired i couldn't eat my chinese. Today we have been putting up the decorations,no i haven't been on any chairs, but i have over done what with yesterday and today.

So here i am with a bag of peas on my knee in the hope that it will ease off. I have been very down and fed up with how things are with me and thats why i haven't been on here much as i didn't want to make you all depressed.

So i wish you all have a lovely day and when all the decorations are done i will let you all know........

You are making us all feel jealous with your preparations for Christmas. We are hoping to put the decs up this weekend as my parents are coming up shortly for a mini christmas, they are going to one of my sisters for the actual day, also my other sister will be visiting straight after my parents, hence why I thought it best to get them up.

Good to hear that you feel well enough to attempt a walk round Tesco's, even though you are paying for it now. It's only a few days now isn't it for your son's welcome return. Have you got the fatted calf primed and ready?

Take care, xxx

I am looking forward to seeing my george. At the moment he doesn't expect me at the airport, but hopefully if i am ok i will be going to manchester airport. Like you i always put them up first weekend of december so it is early for us. Others have already put theirs up. We still have all the lights and trees to put up and decorate. We have four trees to dress, one of them is pink!!

With going out thursday, then saturdays little trip and then back at birmingham for the tatto i am well and truly tattered. It has been upsetting for me not being able to do it all.

How are you my darling?

Love to you sylvi.xxx

Weekend, not so good generally lousy, but today had both injection and tablet and am feeling better less fatigue than I have had, I have started a tickling throat, if it gets any worse will give the GP a call. Two weeks today before blood test done, not much longer to go, will be praying they are back to normal and I can go back to correct levels of meds. Take care, cyber hugs. xxx

I'm seeing my gp tomorrow and i am having an ultra sound on my hands and wrists. Then wednesday i am seeing my surgeon about my knee and then friday psychio to top the week off.

You take care my darlin. xxxx

Sylvi, sorry to hear you are feeling a bit tired again. Is this the knee that they operated on that is giving you problems? You have had a very busy few weeks so you may have been taking more out of yourself than usual. Working around the supermarket???? Well that is really good, it has been a long time since you have done that i am sure, you usually go on the scooter don't you?

I hope you get rested tonight and feel better tomorrow and raring to go with those christmas trees on the weekend.

Yes Mads it is the knee they operated on,but as i am seeing the surgeon tomorrow i will wait and see what he has to say.

Hello, I was wondering how you were, and was hoping you were ok. Life can be so exhausting and then you realise a month has gone by and it's nearly Christmas. I hope you can get everything done you want without getting exhausted. Do you think your knee is better after your op? Xx

My knee is ok cathie, its the muscles and tendons and ligaments that are causing the problem. I am seeing the surgeon tomorrow so we will see what happens. I am having an ultra sound on my hands and wrists this morning.

How are you today? i hope you are keeping ok. Love sylvi.xx
