Hello All,

My name is Lucy Platt and I and a final year student currently studying at Loughborough University on a Industrial Design Course. For my final year project i am creating a fitness aid for people living with rheumatoid arthritis and looking to acquire user feedback to help get a better insight into what users want that will then drive my product development.

I would really appreciate it if you could possibly spare a couple of minutes to fill out the following questionnaire attached, so that it would aid me in creating a desirable product for the end users.

The information below is participant information so that you all have an understanding of what you can expect, do not hesitate to get in contact with me if you have any further questions that you would like to ask. Again I really appreciate you help!

Thank You

Yes, after you have read this information and asked any questions you may have we will ask you to complete an Informed Consent Form, however if at any time, before, during or after the sessions you wish to withdraw from the study please just contact the main investigator. You can withdraw at any time, for any reason and you will not be asked to explain your reasons for withdrawing.

How long will it take?

This questionnaire should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.

Who should I send the questionnaire back to?

The survey should automatically be returned to Lucy Platt once you have submitted the survey at the end, but if you have any further information that you would like to add please send it to:

What personal information will be required from me?

Details of the condition that you suffer from and the problems that arise with that, the coping strategies that you have that help you get through day to day life. The activities that you do in any form of exercise and any problems that you have carrying these out or with products that you use for this exercise.

Will my taking part in this study be kept confidential?

All participant responses will be kept strictly anonymous and no personal information will be published.
