Dawlish here i come.....

Last week we had an email from the sun holiday offer telling us that we have got our 5 day vacation to dawlish that we wanted. Only trouble is it starts on monday. Do you know i am not even getting in a flap about it either. This is so unusual for me,i would be packing three weeks in advance before. I think there must be something wrong with me!!!!

It has not been an easy week for me. I have had very bad nights sleep. I have been down here most nights,except last night when i slept like a baby. The down side to that is that i have a lot of pain today. I am not too worried about it though as i have always said if i can sleep i can cope with the pain.

For the month or so i have been taking b6 & b12. I have to say they have made a big difference to my moods. I suffer with depression and they have helped an awful lot with that.

I am taking my laptop with me so i will be able to see how you are getting on,but i might not add anything, we'll see. I said that when i went to cornwall.

Hi Sylvi, hope you have a nice time.

I have found in the past that when I dont have weeks and weeks to worry about the packing, I've ended up enjoying the holiday more! (I didn't take enough clothes but a visit to a different clothes shop wasn't the worst thing in the world - which I know you will appreciate - different branches of my usual clothes shops stocked different items, yipee !!!!!)

A change of scenery plus different shops are always a bonus !

I quite agree with what you have said Judi,i feel so laid back about it is so unknown of me. I have done most of my packing. All trousers and jumpers and t-shirts. All i have to sort out are the toiletries tomorrow. It will be nice to see dawlish again,we haven't been down there since the children were little. Hopefully the weather will be nice for a change. Don't start on shops its my hubbys worst nightmare. THere will be plenty to do if my body holds up. I have been down here all night again.

Will let you know how many shops i manage to get into!!

Sylvi, i know absolutely nothing about Dawllish, what it sounds like a great place to be, so will love hearing all about it when you get back! Like..what is a "stick of Dawlish rock"

It is a sweet stick with dawlish written through it. Dawlish is just a small seaside town that is on the south side of devon so it is warmer and it is good for children. love sylvia.xx
