anyone know x

Hi Tina, Team no medical professional or anything I have taken these together in the past. However if I was you I would double check with your GP or if you need to know tonight try NHS direct on the phone y Take care Julie x

* I'm * not" team"

sorry I was in bed.. hopefully you spoke to out of hours/ gp or some how got through the night.. you can take the two! if they are both prescribed to you by your gp then you should be fairly certain this is ok for you,, im guessing that the oramorph may be new for you but I could be wrong?

the oramorph is the stronger of the two , they are both opiate pain killers. do not exceed the maximum dose of either.. using the two regularly shouldnt be done because this would/ could indicate you need a stronger opiate pain killer!,

Oramorph is often used as a breakthrough pain pain killer in more serious illness such as cancers.. the best advice has ben given by Julie(ra-fibro)

speak to a GP about your pain/ painkillers if you havent aleady done so is a good idea.

Hope you got through the nite ok x

Hi Tina, I have taken the two together but only on rare occasions and usually while in hospital.

Like Julie and Alison both said it's best to speak to a professional on this one as I don't think they would be recommended long term, just to get you through a tough time.

Hi Tina,

Hope you got the advice you needed and managed some sleep and are not in as much pain.

I can't answer your question as not on either but thought I would mention another source of information would/could have been the chemist who supplies your meds.if they were open. (I was recently prescribed tramadol and forgot to ask GP if tramadol and paracetamol were ok together - chemist advised that they were but not to exceed recommended dose).
