Waterproof wrist supports?

Hi.

I wonder if any of you have any idea whether such a thing exists? My wrists are really sore from swimming and the supports I have at the moment are elasticated with a metal plate and would take forever to dry if I wore them in the pool.

Hints anyone?

I Just have a spare pair one for while swimming and then when I'm getting dryed I put the dry ones on and give the other pair time to dry off.

Hi Julie

It's nice to see you again - it was getting to the stage I was gonna pm you. How are you and how is your treatment going?

I digress - what a good idea, I never thought about that.

Now why didn't I think of that. Such a simple mind.

Thanks xxx

Some splints don't involve metal and are made of Neopreme (sp?) which is used to make wetsuits so must be waterproof of course - so if you haven't got any made of neopreme then that would be the way to go I feel (my physio has just given me a funny little finger splint made of it because it's so strong but light and stretchy!). You can buy them online or ask your physio or OH about Neopreme splints. Tilda x
