Hi BG. I bought the Circulation Booster 18 months ago when suffering badly from swollen feet ankles and legs. Brilliant. Took 3 weeks using it every night for 30 minutes to bring the swelling down - had very little trouble since but if feet etc swell up do go back on it for a couple of days.

Husband also used it after he broke his leg last year and was getting a lot of swelling round the ankle once he was up and about again. That did the trick for him as well. If you have a recognised illness such as RA, you don't pay the VAT either. Worth getting. LavendarLady x

Hi BG. I have the original one at or £199. Don't know anything about the JML one though. Stick to the original I would think - it is the tried and tested one.

Summer is right, wax baths are brilliant. I go to our local beauty clinic for that and it is bliss.

The other thing to try for swollen hands is a sink full of cold water and immerse your hands in it for a few minutes. It takes the swelling down as well as relieving some of the discomfort. Or ice packs. Sometimes too much heat can cause more problems than it solves.

The chiropractor recommended alternate heat and cold. That works as well.

Thanks for enquiry. I am pretty good at present - just a few twinges - go to the hospital on Tuesday for ultra sound scan on my shoulder as Rheumy Doc thinks it is the rotator cuff rather than the RA in the joint. Isn't life fun at times? Hope you get on ok. LavendarLady x

Hi BG. Thanks. It would just be so good to be told a miracle has happened and the RA has gone for good. Fat chance I think. Do get some pins and needles but don't know what causes that unless occasionally when the joints are swollen, a nerve gets trapped. Seeing Rheumy Doc next Friday so will ask him. He is very approachable. I have noticed this last few days that one of my shin bones is very painful just above the inner ankle joint. Oh great, I am afraid the RA is striking higher up now. Another note on the list for the Doc on Friday!

Must admit since Tuesday of last week, joints have been pretty good and not really causing any problems. Have even been wearing heels again to look businesslike and a bit more glamorous than just flopping about in jeans and loafers! Nice to dress up a bit, short skirt, black tights etc. LOL.
