Anyone got any advice on Birmingham hospitals?

I've just had my choice of second opinion through, and can choose between Heartlands, Good Hope, Solihull (which I think are all the same team), and Walsall Manor. Anyone got any experience of these, good or bad?

You're right Heartlands, Solihull and Good Hope are all the same trust (Heart of England) so at all of those sites you'd be under the same team. They are mainly based at Solihull though. This is the team I am under after having a really bad experience at another hospital and I have found them to be fantastic.

I haven't had any experience of Walsall Manor.

Thanks, both - I was all set to choose Walsall, as I work there, but then I'm thinking that this is my second opinion, and going somewhere because it's convenient is probably not the best way to make a decision! So I'm doing my usual flapping!

although i have sjrogrens syndrome. some of my symptoms seem similar.

Heartlands are very good. Both my husband and I have been very glad to go there. hope this helps.
