could be either or both....the tongue is a strange location.. only usely affected by severe allergic reaccction . more swelling than numb then.. hopefully the speech therapy lady can shed some light on this(the tongue).. If you have a peek at the patient info leaflets,, you will spot potential causes of numbess, am always worried Im going to either scare or bore people...
any way RA it self can cause numbess in toes. feet and or cramps.. but so can my medication the gold injection.. see my dilemma in answering this question.. things are not always black and white and everyones RA and possible reaction to meds if different
Alison x
Thanks again Alison, just wondered if it was all part of RA, I do avoid reading side effects of these meds as I'm such a drama queen and bother all here instead every day something else seems to creep up!
Hopefully as I get used to all this I'll stop pestering....
Has been very quiet on this site for the last few days, are you all recovering from the birthday bash!?
no problem for you my nice little ghost lady!!. recovering my two companions were very lively.. the only way I usually manage is not much alcohol and early nights.. I was quite well for the conference,, but suffering a bit now...the other ladies were the life and soul and tired me out.. but it was a very nice chance to go to the lunch and meet them and and a few other people too!. the NRAS lunch was a great event x!
