Can anyone recommend a suitable travel pouch/box to take Benepali on a 5 hr flight. The ones senscious suggest are £70! Was hoping for something cheaper as don't travel often?

I use a Frio duo pouch (about £20) but if you use the search box and filter for NRAS all past posts about this will come up with other suggestions 😊

Benepali can be used up to 4 weeks out of the fridge, when I traveled abroad I just took it in my hand luggage and put it in a drawer at the hotel.

How long will you be away for. Benepali can be kept out of the fridge for up to 4 weeks.

Interesting, my benepali paperwork states 28 days at 25 degrees max. So would depend where you were going on holiday. I use a Medactiv cool bag, which stays below 8 degrees for 12hrs if needed.

Mine says 25° too.

This is from their website, however I think it might be a recent change as it says “extended to 30 days” and the “30 degrees” bits in bold.

I'm on enbrel, Benepali is the biosimilar drug to it. Last year we went touring Spain in our motorhome and we had problems the fridge. Long story short it went over 8 degrees and the back down to 3 with 5 injections in. I phoned Sciensus and spoke to a pharmacist who contacted Pfizer the manufactures of it. She was told they had been testing it and it's still viable if it's been in and out of refrigeration 3 times and it's okay up to 32 degrees. None of this I think is officially stated though in info about the drug. Frio wallets keep the injections cool, not fridge cold, so if you stick to info currently available you shouldn't put them in the fridge after travelling. But like said in previous posts they are okay out of the fridge for a period of time.
