Been injecting Benepali weekly since April and have had this happen twice so far. Ran it past the nurses at the homecare delivery company supplying it and was told that as long as the syringe was empty and it appeared to have otherwise injected normally i.e. no excess fluid on the skin or unusual bleeding, it’s fine.

Thank you.. the yellow part only went down half way and waited ages for the second click too.. so gather that’s not all the fluid released !! Also had fluid on my skin after so think I better phone healthcare tomorrow Thanks anyway

I’d give them a call, for sure, although I think the only issue with excess fluid/failure to fully inject is purely not receiving the full dose.

I had exactly the same last week but fine this week from the same batch.

Hi Tabella as the comments abo verbally. Has also happened to me the only problem is you wouldn't have had the full dose unless it emptied so nothing to worry about.

Yes this has happened to me a few times too. I wouldn’t worry about it as there’s nothing you can do as you can’t have another dose. I always let them know when this happens in case there’s a faulty batch.

As Kitty says unfortunately when this happens they won’t let you inject again, as they don’t know how much you got of the dose. Happened to me a while back. I still inform them in case it’s a faulty batch.

morning Tabella......my batch No EC1470 delivered on 11/7/22 had a faulty pen which didnt second click.Sciencus pharmacy took the details and reported it to the manufacturer.

I was assured that I probably did get a full dose and to carry on with that batch.

I wondered if the size of the bubble was a factor ? The yellow part in the faulty pen didnt go right down either. They thought it was a one-off fault. Being quite new to benepali, I couldn't find any note of a 'no click'..............seems it is not a one-off is it ?
