You have done this after advice from your rheumy team haven’t you?

I had a letter from consult saying it was okay to increase MTX, so GP was able to prescribe it for me, okay to take ibuprofen, hoping to stop it once MTX kicks in , not good long term. Kate.

That’s good…..let’s hope once the Mtx kicks in you will be a new woman .It amazes me how anyone can take Ibruprofen….it has shall we say a very moving effect on me!

That's great.Just to mention that my rheumy nurse advised me to take paracetamol and ibuprofen together which was also my GP's and physio's advice when I had a tendon injury pre-RA; apparently they work in a different way to each other but they are more effective together. Might be worth asking about if things don't improve quickly enough.
