To cheer us and help us out, our pets help with the decorations! Here is our 20 year old who LOVES tinsel.

What a little beauty! What's his/her name? Certainly doesn't look 20!! We couldn't possibly have a tree or decs with our two. They are constantly into everything. Even when we have birthday or Xmas cards on the mantlepiece they make it part of their routine to repeatedly knock them all over the floor! My sister in law visited yesterday bought them an advent calendar. 😱 They think it's wonderful and spent most of the evening trying to scratch extra doors open, trying to drag it off the fireplace and poking their paws in the empty windows - just in case! Not sure it will withstand 19 more days of this rough treatment!! 😆😆xx

Leo was bought in August so our daughter aged two called her Leo! We tried to say it was a boy’s name but the kitten ran to her when she said it so it stuck.

Haha - yes! I'm constantly trying to poke my paws into open advent calendar windows - not much luck though!!😉😁xx

Here's my rabbit, Dylan . Not so much helping as objecting to the decorations on the windowsill - his windowsill.

I too love naughty pets! I have a grand- chinchilla she is all black. Her name is Dulcinea. I just can't believe the personality she has. She is always getting into mischief. She loves to watch TV. Her favorite is Bob Ross the painter. When she eats a rosebud she looks like she is eating an apple. With her little hands. To all the pet lovers MERRY CHRISTMAS!🎄🎁🌲😍

MadBunny profile image
MadBunny in reply to Empress30

She sounds wonderful.I had to laugh at the fact she likes Bob Ross. I don't know anything about chinchillas so thankyou for sharing this 😁Merry Christmas to you too 🎄🎀🌟

Well my gorgeous tuxedo cat Jason (photo on my profile of him with his squiffy moustache!) used to attack baubles on lower branches but he was far too heavy to climb up as he was huge .. the Arnie Schwarzenegger of cats! I once was at my childhood friend’s house for the day and she had a very daft but agile tabby who used to climb the tree and shred the satin robins! Once in front us, as we were having sandwiches in the lounge on trays, she leapt into the tree and sent it crashing into the French windows. No damage except a few bedraggled satin robins. It’s an issue for people with crazy cats and Christmas trees!

I don't put the 'proper' Christmas tree up any more as the only place to put it is on the floor- and anything is fair game for Dyl to chew 🙄

😳😝

Like kitchen units, cables, skirting boards, door frames.....you name it he chews it . Oh, and the laces in my boots, one of my scarves and a jacket 🙄

Have you tried feeding him treats? My cat would love you forever with dreamies

MadBunny profile image
MadBunny in reply to Green230461

He loves treats. The rustle of a bag is enough for him to come running. I've tried him on twigs, wooden toys. Not interested 😁

Lovely pussy! I live alone with my beautiful Eric. (Syrian hamster). I’ve put a few pics of him on here. I’m going to put my Christmas tree up soon. The only thing is. Hamsters tend to have to climb EVERYTHING. Even me!! I’ve had previous hamsters that used to climb up my legs when i was standing over them. All the way up to my head. So funny. Although luckily for me, my Eric is a rubbish climber. For some reason he finds it hard to grip. (I hope he hasn’t got RA aswell). Pets are the best. X

MadBunny profile image
MadBunny in reply to Vixen2

They certainly are. Before I had rabbits I used to have gerbils. They were such characters, too.

Vixen2 profile image
Vixen2 in reply to MadBunny

I know. They might look similar. But it ends there. They’re all individual. Like us i suppose. Good job. If we were all the same. Life would be bloody boring!!!

MadBunny profile image
MadBunny in reply to Vixen2

Yep. And my rabbits have all been very different. Dylan is the naughtiest and most destructive I've had . But I still love him.

Vixen2 profile image
Vixen2 in reply to MadBunny

Oh defo. When my Eric chews some cardboard i put under the door. (Just incase he squeezes under!) He chews like a nutter & cardboard’s everywhere. He just looks up at me. Gives me a gorgeous innocent look. I laugh & get the dustpan & brush out & i let him carry on running round my lounge. While i listen to the radio on my wireless headphone & have a lovely cuppa. Or i might even boogie a bit, listening to music. Whilst i try my hardest not to tread on my Eric!!

Vixen2 in reply to MadBunny

I’m trying to send a pic of my Eric. Not sure if it’ll go through

My Eric loves the camera!!!

I fell in love with him at the pet shop. We can all forgive our pets most thjngs. Except i had another hamster. (Female, NAUTIE NELLIE). She lived up to her name. She chewed into the wires of my washing machine. Ruined it. I had to buy a new one. The delivery guys couldn’t believe she was still alive!!!

What a sweet little face.

Vixen2 profile image
Vixen2 in reply to Green230461

I know. He has a vulnerable, innocent looking face. He’s the sweetest one i’ve had. He’s nearly a yr old & has only bitten me once & that was because i’d been to the pub. Came home a bit late & he was jealous. I hadn’t let him out! He was very human the way he went for me. He was really having a go at me. Bit me. Then sulked. But came round when i let him out!

I love rabbits too we had a Male my daughter named "Thumper" He would thump warning us. They are so much fun to watch like my daughters Chin. Yours is adorable. Ours was a French lop.

MadBunny in reply to Empress30

We've had them for a long time. Our first, Benjamin, belonged to our friend's daughter. She lost interest so we adopted him.One Christmas, he sat on the arm of the sofa, with his bum hanging over the edge- and weed on the presents under Christmas tree🙄😂

Vixen2 profile image
Vixen2 in reply to Green230461

🤣. I know you feel. I turned 50 this yr. sometimes i feel 90. Mother nature is no friend of mine. Sometimes my whole body feels as dry as a prune. Dry mouth, dry eyes. (Dry in some other places if you know what i mean!!) But there’s a vitamin supplement i’ve recently read about. Had fantastic, rave reviews. (If you can believe them. You take 3 tablets a day. Helps to improve skin, hair, nails, joints. (Not sure if it can help with an old pussy though). 🤣😱

It’s called INGENIOUS BEAUTY. It has collagen in it. Not cheap. £165 for 3 months supply!! There’s a lovely radio presenter i love on BBC London. Jo Good. She’s got her own utube channel. Middle aged minx. She’s 66. She just glows & i find her inspiring. She’s giving 25% off this product if you key in her code. Her latest vlog came out yesterday. Her vlogs just cheer me up. Especially if i’m tired or in pain. I find her quite therapeutic!

Green230461 profile image
Green230461 in reply to Vixen2

Thank you! Chanel is 300 pounds so this is a bargain!!

Vixen2 profile image
Vixen2 in reply to Green230461

Bloody hell. I haven’t got many wrinkles. But i can feel my skin changing. Jo Good’s great. She’s very lively & has a glow about her. She’s been taking collagen for a few yrs. But some people do have a natural glow. Good luck with the ingenious stuff. Glad it cheered you up!
