Post MTX dose flare?

Anyone else feel slightly worse - joint stiffness, muscle aches - for a few hours after taking their methotrexate dose?

Yes I do. I get an ache in my bones and feel just generally fluey. Rest up xxx

Yes, I do but not for a few hours after, with me it's more like 2 - 3 days after and I feel really exhausted for round about the same amount of time too.

It's really miserable isn't it Maggie but what would the alternative be! I wouldn't want that, that's for sure. Take care. xx

I feel hungover the next day. I’m better if it inject it right before I go to bed, so sleep off the worst of it. If you don’t already, I would recommend this.,

Well hey there Hallysim my fatigue is through the roof and yeah have felt really achy well take care.

I sometimes feel a little achey the day of, but was wondering if it was because I was due for my dose? Interesting to read the other replies.

I sometimes feel a bit more tired the day after but not always.

Yes a bit more achy in the morning and I'm noticing I do not have an appetite. ☹ hope yours eases very soon.

The day after my MTX injection I usually don't feel 100% as in low energy, nausea and fatigue. Some weeks I'm absolutely fine and some (like today) I could fall asleep in a split second!😴 No aching muscles or joints though.
