Hi Peeps πŸ™‚

I thought I'd share my best purchase since for ever!

I took my father-in-law to Specsavers yesterday and asked the Optometrist how it is that her glasses didn't fog up.

amazon.co.uk/dp/B08GFN3S56/...

Mine were Β£10 for 100 from Specsavers.

We'll...call me sceptical, but I thought that she was just pushing for the sale. I did buy some...and used the wipe later in the day when I had to visit a&e (different story 😏) and my glasses didn't fog up once with my mask on for hours!!!πŸ₯³ I can only ask myself, why I've left it until now to buy them! πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Yes I found a different Anti Fog cloth to the one that you have a few months ago, and like you found that 3 hours at Papworth and my glasses didn't fog up at all with a mask on. Absolutely brilliant, wish I had thought to look for something a year ago. Hope you visit to A & E wasn't to stressful.πŸ‘πŸ™‚πŸ™‚

Just a broken finger πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈIt's okay 😊 Which cloth do you use?

Lifeflrt Reusable 700 times/pack Dry Anti-Fog cloth (it is in a reusable pouch which you keep the cloth in so it doesn't dry out) 3 pack for £16.95 from Amazon - others companies may sell this item as well - ( sent one to my Aunt in Lincolnshire as she was having trouble with glasses fogging up when she went in her local shop). I think you can buy them individually as well. Sorry about the broken finger, hope it heals soon. Does it get you out of washing up?😊😊

What is the name of the 'fog wipe' that you found Snackjac, and where did you buy it?

Sorry. I 'liked' the no fog element of your post but definitely don't like the sound of a&e.

I’m having a box of those! It was like being in a sauna yesterday, steaming up at my hospital infusion with my specs and mask on! (I’ve got a hot face to start with!) Thank you for your recommendation and hope you are alright re the A&E?

I have my first Rituximab infusion 24th May. Hopefully I will benefit from clear πŸ‘“πŸ˜…I'm dreading it tbh 😟

There is honestly nothing to worry about... I have been on rituximab since 2016 and I now only need one infusion every six months.I have tried to go longer between infusions but seven months is the longest I can go. But it’s so much more convenient than remembering to take tablets of having an injection every day or every weekWhen you go for your first infusion make sure you you have a book or an iPad to keep you amused ....it is incredibly boring .....because there’s not much you can do attached to a drip ....my favorite tip is remember to wear trousers you just pull up...... it’s awfully difficult to do up a zip & hold your trousers up when you’re on a drip.

And do remember to take a warm throw..for some reason most people feel really chilly.

I do hope it’s a great success it seems to suit a lot of people so let’s hope you are one of them.

Another trick if you can’t get out to buy No Fog...is polish your glasses clean....then rub a couple of drops of washing up,liquid on the inside of the lenses....polish it off....DON’t rinse it off......just polish well with a microfibre cloth.Works a treat!

That sounds much cheaper, Aged Crone -what a wonderful name! The wipes I got from the optician were called 'No Fog' manufactured by Bondeye and cost Β£6.99 for only 30 and they're not perfect by any means. Think I was conned. Thanks for the tip.

So pleased that you have found the wipes to work. So sorry to hear about your trip to A & E thought. x

I’ve got these Foggy Wipes, they’re a reusable cloth and do the same thing, you put them back in the packet and seal it back up after use. Excellent product and not disposable either so environmentally friendly too.

Green packet with an image of a pair of specs.

These are brilliant..effective and not throwaway.Transformed the few shopping trips Ive had.But for some reason wearing a mask makes my nose runπŸ€”Can’t think of a sensible solution to that oneπŸ˜‚

Mine seems to as well actually, but then it runs whenever I eat too πŸ˜‚

Update!!!! So sorry🀭Put the wrong photo and link on here. I have corrected it now. I had put them away and just blindly πŸ˜‰put up the ones Specsavers were showing. Sorry if that has blind-sided you x
