Vaccine Folic Acid and MTX

Morning everyone.I had my second AZ vaccine and like the first time had no reaction at all ...well so far anyway.Feel so lucky and a cautious feeling of things getting better.With the first vaccine I stopped MtX for a week either side of it but continued taking folic acid as I am now but .Just out of interest wondering if stopping taking folic acid during the time not taking MTX is ok? It never occurred to me before.Im assuming MTX is still in the body so maybe folic acid is still needed.Any thoughts please. Looking forward to saying goodbye to this freezing cold north wind and feeling that warm that sunshine again.Jumpers on...again.Glad Im not a blossom😂

Folic acid is basically vitamin B9. If your body doesn’t need it it excretes it....
