Dry around nose

I’ve had dryness around my nose and mouth for a few years now? Anyone know anything good to get rid of it? I have gained weight and my diet isn’t the best. Some days it’s good and some not. The picture is at its worse.

I've used cetaphil in the past. It works well and if you cant get it on prescription shop around because the price varies widely 👍

Have you seen your GP? We can’t advise you on what to take, your GP is the one to do that. I hope you get sorted soon.

Yes they prescribed hydrocortisone but it made it worse?

Does your doctor know what it is? You don't mention what medication you take. Could it be a side effect of your medication perhaps.

I had a rash near my eyes very itchy and annoying. A friend recommended Dr Organic Maluka Honey Rescue cream, you can get it in Holland & Barratt or on line. It was very soothing and it did get rid of it

If your meds haven’t been changed recently have you changed any routine you use for your face?

I had a terrible reaction to a newly purchased liquid foundation, burning with peeling worst around my eyes & mouth & chin. Fortunately a close friend is a beauty therapist & gave me a tester tube of Guinôt Créme Protection Réparatrice which settled the reaction right down, thankfully, because it was a real worry at the time. It was very soothing from first applying it. I did buy a tube because cold & wind makes my skin sore, I guess you could say that since having the reaction my skin is now sensitive. I also apply it round my nose at night when I have a cold. It's not particularly cheap but if I wouldn’t be without it now.

Another thing you could maybe try is using tea tree face wash. Again, I use this.
