Had my rheumy appointment

Hi everyone, hope yous are ok. I had my first rheumatologist appointment today , i was there for sometime very informative chat and some x-rays ....so good news he doesn't think i have RA ...bad news i definitely have severe osteoarthritis in hands and feet with alot of damage, the reason for feeling so ill is simply the amount of pain i am in , so to manage my pain and miss out on no doses is the plan ahead and physio , also sadly i wont be returning to my cleaning business. But hopefully when i feel better and pain under control and a few life changes i'll find something else. I just wanted to thankyou all for listening to my moans, and although I dont have RA i would still like to chat to you all comparing our ailments ❤

That's great news Goodwin and not so great news because of the osteo, but hopefully when you've had your meds sorted and the physio gets underway, the pain will be much better controlled. All the best to you and thanks for letting us know. Take care. xx

Great news it's not RA:but ouch osteo arthritis is awful too. Of course chat on here ! and versus arthritis is a helpful site too. I'm SO glad you got answers you were suffering a lot x

Thankyou Bacharia, tbh I’m grateful not to have RA as my mum had it very bad but what I’m experiencing is a close second it has changed my life totally in like 7 months so I need to focus on being more positive xx
