This last week, whilst off work, I've been doing the elimination diet, recommended by a fellow blogger, from an excellent book called Diet and Arthritis by Dr Gail Darlington. I really believe that my RA is attributed to years of 'IBS type' problems, with subsequent increasing food intollerances resulting in my RA diagnosis last year. Unfortunately I've had to abondon it today, despite seeing some encouraging improvements over the last week, simply because the lack of food made me feel unwell and I was losing weight I could not afford to lose (6lbs in 4 days). It did confirm that citrus fruits and tea/coffee are an issue for me though, and I will continue to avoid those and see what happens!
