I got the Scottish Gov letter that is going to everyone; almost the same as the UK Gov letter already received weeks ago.
Guess you mean a shielding letter? Mine came from Rheumatology Dept but was worded identically to those sent by Gov. The senders vary from from region to region, it seems.
Rather late, for you, at sixth week of lockdown. But you know now where you stand and can prove it and contact services for support too.
That's good news - at least it's official now, and, as Charisma says, you can now get the priority slots for shopping and any other help you need too.
Better late than never,I got mine last week xxx
Should be getting mine shortly.
I got mine on Monday and had a call from local authority last week. I said the only thing I needed was a supermarket slot for personal things. We have fresh veg delivered and someone who gets the odd thing but im not asking others to buy toiletries as they are getting things for about 4 people as well as her own family. As yet no supeemarkwt slot. Hay ho.
Good news
Good to hear Mike x

My hubby had his letter today, though he’s been shielding since mid March anyway. 12 (more) weeks, from 27 April. I think another 12 weeks is the ‘powers that be’ way of ensuring the more vulnerable people stay home whilst, at some point, they start relaxing the lockdown. We’re very lucky in that we have fields at both ends of our very short road, so we are able to go for a walk without seeing a soul. Challenge will come when I head back to work ................
