Why are so many people ignoring advice, ignorant or selfish?

While many of us ensure we have to latest information and follow the advice given, there are as many or possibly more who, whether they follow the news or read articles or not, ignore the advice and carry on as they normally would!!

I am frankly astounded and very disappointed in these people. It seems indicative of a loss of true values in society. We have a ‘me first’ culture, and that, will be the end of us all, I fear.

It’s heartening that there good people, doing extraordinary things in these times, but they are too few.

Hi. I agree entirely. Your post was very polite. I don't think they would print what I think about these extremely selfish and ignorant people. Selfish because they obviously couldn't care less about other people and ignorant because they don't realise they are making it worse for themselves and their own families too. The only thing to do is make it against the law and quickly. Keep safe. x

Unfortunately, selfish people are going to be highly successful and the world is going to rebrand them as intelligent, insightful, Blaha Blaha. The truth is that the people who think of society are termed as stupid, worthless and useless and their numbers are fast depreciating. The democracy has made more easy for selfish and cunning people to thrive, as it advocates for tolerance to get elected.
