This is where honesty comes on, honesty about your pain, what you CANT do, your difficulty getti.g dressed getting to work toileting, any problems no matter how embarrassing, down to I cant get socks and shoes on.tell her your anguish about work and how it affects you emotionally too.
They will be on your side if you tell them the truth, and they hate when they ask how are you and you say " fine". No bravery ssy" I. Awful really!"

Hi about 9 months ago had 2 telephone OH assessments both were very good and thorough, she was a fully qualified nurse who specialised in OH. Make sure the person from OH understands it is RA you have not just Arthritis because once I clarified this with her she better understood what I was saying. All I can say is be perfectly honest how you are affected and what your limitation are. After both the assessments her clinical assessment was that I was not fit to work.
