Hi all hope you are all keeping safe. My question is am I vulnerable? I have seronegative ra and hypothyroidism. I am on mtx injection 12.5mg and hydroxycriquin 20mg also leverthyroixin.
I will still be working next week in school kitchen as we are still feeding vulnerable children. Is it safe? Am I doing the right thing?
Any help or advice would be welcomed
Thanks x

It's difficult bit mtx does lower immunity and the fact you have thyroid problems increases risk of infection k would think personally although I'm not a doctor. I would ring the GP or rheumy helpline for advice. As a cook you are well used to infection control methods and not coughing or sneezing in a kitchen. But I feel expert advice is needed then a chat with personell xxx good luck could you update us. Ps hope your not the chef in my school tho shes always hungry and working in the essential team x
Hi, I saw on TV yesterday an expert was asked this question. He said the simple way to decide if you were high risk was if your GP called you for an annual flu jab.
