Unbloodybelievable

Just had to go and collect my prescriptions from local pharmacy. People are parking where ever they want big flash cars just parking in the road blocking the whole road. People are not using car parks using pavement and grass banks. I wound down my window and spoke to a woman in a large Porsche saying your blocking the road. Her answer I won’t be long just got to go to the chemist. I watched her go into Greggs and came out with an harm full of food went nowhere near the chemist .

People are mad! They are selfish and ignorant. You can't change them unfortunately so it's not worth to be upset about it.

Hope you are okay.

Have a lovely tea and enjoy the rest of your day.

Yes that’s why I dint like people lol , decent people r hard to find unfortunately. I was always brought up to be kind and have manners . As long as have my dog .

Lina282 in reply to Buckybri

I know. I was brought up in that way and we bring our children up to have manners ,be kind and helpful but unfortunately we have to home educate them as they were strongly bullied in school because they are too nice.😏🤔

Such a worry when the too nice kids meet today’s real world.

Trouble is - you just don’t realise how important someone with a Porsche is otherwise you would have felt honoured.. (Joke)

You’re right it is totally pathetic and ignorant. Our surgery / pharmacy has two disabled parking spaces right outside the door, so many of the fit and able ‘I’ll only be a minute brigade’ think it’s ok to use them.

Yes some people are so selfish. I had an appointment for a Pre Admission Assessment at Nevill Hall Hospital. My Hubby was with me because im not able to go out alone. We parked the car up and started to make our way to the Hospital entrance.

Im on my Electric Scooter as I can't walk.

We turned the corner .Then we had to stop. A big car was parked on the pavement. He took the whole of the pavement up and i couldn't get past. My Hubby had to help me off the scooter. He picked it up and carried it to the other end of that car. Then he came back to help me. He's got a Heart problem and several other medical conditions. He's not supposed to lift. When I was getting on my scooter I saw a Man going towards the car. So i said ( Hey you, is this your

b....y car. If you had to park on the pavement, you could have parked half and half. Half on the road and half on the pavement. Give people room to get past i

said more than that to him. But I can't write it all down. When we eventually got inside the entrance,my Hubby said to me.

Glo that wasn't the Driver of the car.

He was the Lorry Driver. I said ,well why didn't he say something. My Hubby said, because you didn't give him a chance. A I felt terrible.

But there was a Security Guard in the Foyer,so i told him what was going on..I said he should take the car No etc..

But he wasn't interested. I couldn't stay any longer, because I would have been late for my Appointment.

I don't know if it's because im hurting such a lot. But i know that im losing my temper much easier than what I used to.

I used to be so calm about most things. But not anymore..

Are any of you Good People on here feeling like me. I get so upset very easily now and then..Wallop. I just lose it. 🤔

Oh Gjkas I feel just the same. I think the utter selfishness of people can be so ugly and soul destroying and it’s made worse by our vulnerability. I try though to hang on to some of the kindness people show to each other and in my limited way try to help too.

We can use this site to spread some kindness which will help but I do know it’s a struggle when you’re directly confronted by such callous behaviour.

I hope you feel stronger soon.

Take care xx

Yes ,you're right Bizzie.

We are all mostly Old Age Pensioners where I live. But a little way up the hill is a young Couple with 2 Teenage Boys. The young Lady came across to our house yesterday to see if we needed anything. We didn't need any groceries, but my Hubby had a prescription that had to go to the Chemist. She said ( No problem ).

She told us that if we needed anything to just ring them up. She gave us their telephone number and mobile number.

On Bonfire Night they always bring us over a couple of Hot Dogs..

They really are kind.

Thankyou for your good wishes. Gjkas .

👍🌹

It always seems to be the same type

Film them on your mobile. Its an offence. Send it to the authorities

Gjkas profile image
Gjkas in reply to TheBoys

That's what I should have done. I wouldn't have minded so much if they had left enough room on the pavement for wheelchairs and scooters.

I'll do that next time. Thanks 👍

Unfortunately I think the authorities have bigger problems... I haven’t seen a police car for days

Gjkas profile image
Gjkas in reply to

The Authorities might have bigger problems. But the Big Fat Security Guard didn't want to know. Didn't even bother to take the car No.

I wonder what he'd do if there was a fracas there. Probably run to the nearest exit.

in reply to Gjkas

Oh no he’s sitting in his sanitised area might catch something if he moves😁

Gjkas profile image
Gjkas in reply to

Yes, you could be right.👍

He was too fat to run anyway. 😁

Human nature at it's worst sadly to say and I don't think it's going to get better, I just hope the good people out there who are carrying out selfless acts of kindness don't give up or are bullied by these selfish people as the going gets tough.Sounds like her 'prescription' was more oral rather than medically! :-)

Gjkas profile image
Gjkas in reply to Pippy25

Oh Pippy, you're right. What you wrote made me think of the old saying.

When the going gets tough.

The Tough gets going .

The end of what you wrote really made me chuckle. 😁😂

Prescription was more oral than medical .

Well they say laughter is the best medicine don't they, if so I want it on repeat prescription. As for Greggs....some people think it's the 4th emergency service! So she was no doubt attending the Walk In for her 'fix' of pasties, bread and confectionery. We must show empathy for these individuals, irrespective of their choice of vehicle and make way for them as who knows when she may be able to get her next dose! I say with sarcasm and in jest. Although it's sad and pathetic itsn't it to see the selfishness in some people.

Gjkas profile image
Gjkas in reply to Pippy25

Oh you are so funny. 😁🤣😂.

Thanks for cheering me up a bit..

Looks like I might have the Coronavirus. So im waiting for a telephone call from the Doctor.

Im not going in hospital again anyway. Not unless it gets really bad. Then that's different.

Id much prefer your Repeat Prescription than the Doctors anyway. Although it's such a serious

issue. And some people are so selfish and pathetic.even soul destroying.

But Like you said.

Laughter is the best medicine.😁😁😂🤣☺.And plenty of it. 👍😁🤣😂Gjkas.

Hi Pippy.Doctor just came. Yes it looks like i have got it. High Temperature ,cough , laboured breathing..Can't take deep breaths only short shallow ones. Also sweating even though I feel cold.

She's putting me on Steroids and Antibiotics .The same thing that I would have if i was in hospital .

If i don't feel any better in a couple of days. Then I would have to go to hospital..HUH i don't think so.

I've already been in hospital twice since Christmas. You catch more germs in there than you do at home.

Keep your messages coming Pippy.

Thanks for your chuckles.😁🤣.

Good Manners cost nothing .

Neither do kindness. 🌹🌻.Gjkas

Not good Pippy. I can't believe it. Even though I know that I've got it.

I know more people survive it than die from it. But everytime I put the TV on. They are on about the Elderly with underlying conditions. OOOH.

I wish that they wouldn't keep on about it like that. Because I fit the bill perfectly. Oh I'll get over it.

You got a way with words Pippy.

Don't Stop. You say it as it is. I like that. But you're also funny..

Thanks for asking how I am. x.

Pippy, i am gonna dig deep. Im determined to beat this, no matter what. Of course they were compliments. There's a lot more on the way I think. If I can't always get back to you, it doesn't mean that I'm not reading your message's..

It will be because I'm unable to for a little while. But like

I'll be back. 🤞

Our village pharmacy has locked doors, only allowing in one person at a time, most people keeping a distance from each other. One woman walks up and stands close to me chatting....I got an ...ooooo.....when in said I was social distancing and could she stand back.

Absolute moron.

in reply to Mmrr

Aldi this morning all checkouts open only two people using checkout at the same time one packing the other loading belt. Person behind me put food on belt then stood right on top of me. Cashier asked her to step back she threw a dirty look and ignored him. This was an older person

It's what the UK Govenment are calling the strategy they want us to adopt. Says it all doesn't it ? !

in reply to OilpainterUS

You just gotta laugh your way through this the alternative...doesn’t bare thinking about 😂

Might be a good idea to take a pic if it’s happening frequently, then bring it to the attention of the Police. They should do the rounds there when in the area.Perhaps it may shake up a few by doing the right thing and stop being a pain to others.
