If You work in the health industry I would ask your work colleagues or your boss.

You should speak to your manager if you work on the ward. But I reckon they will tell you is safe to work. I work in the health department also. PM of you want. X

Hiya 1234_riley, welcome! Not something we can answer unfortunately. Both methotrexate & hydroxychloroquine are DMARDs & as such not too immune suppressing, the greater risk is contact with others I would say. Can you contact your Rheumy or Rheumy Nurse, you may have been given a helpline number when diagnosed? They should be able to tell you your specific risk. Remember to let them know the job you do.

Maybe easier to type the abbreviations for your meds, MTX & HCQ. 😊

You should let your line manager know that you are vulnerable. They should deploy you to low risk work area or phone lines like NHS. I am a nurse teacher still on the Nurse register. It is a matter of time before I am asked if I would volunteer to work on front line. I am not fit enough or capable of shift work or manual labour of busy ward work. I am happy to stay working at home teaching and supporting students on line and let my younger fitter colleagues volunteer for frontline work.
