Hubby just told me 50% of his company is being sent home. My husband works in a large office with only one other Person. Only one can be in the office at a time so alternate days working from home. They have no underlying illness and I can’t get a fit note 🙄🙄

Crazy isn’t it!! My union is making a statement later they’re having a meeting with senior leaders today about concerns it’s members have..they must have hundreds!! I’m on leave this week but have been told management are having meetings today too..trying not to get frustrated as I know they can have meetings, about having a meeting, to plan a meeting 🙄 but hoping they raise their game on this! Hope you get a fit note ..🙏 it’s going to hard for GP’s to do this so maybe employers will be giving guidance about this for vulnerable groups or they may implement changes to allow specialist nurses to do it.. who knows. So much is speculation at the moment..we’re all as confused as each other. Stay well and safe xx
You can’t to get a fit note if you haven’t been been off sick.I’m afraid living with RA & taking RA drugs isn’t included, unless you have been unable to work.
A fit note is issued by a doctor to say that you are now fit to return to work after a period of illness.
If there are any restrictions they will be noted on the form.
If you have no symptoms of Covid19 you may go to work.
