I have just been online to my doctors practice, and ordered my medication, I am a few weeks early, but we do not know if we will be in shut down in a few weeks, or even days and I don't want to be without my medication.

I won’t criticise anyone for what they feel is best to do at this point in time. However, all advice from U.K. pharmacies is that there is no need to adapt regular order patterns, that we will be ok.

I agree Eiram50, I can not just go to my chemist and pick it up, I get a delivery and if the wee man decides he is not going round people doors delivering. what do I do then, so that is why I am getting it now before it gets to that stage, its only 2 weeks early.

Yes. I absolutely understand the need to be organised and prepared.

I'm the same in respect of, I had a GP appointment for this Wednesday which has been changed to a telephone consultation. I completely understand and don't have a problem with that however I am worried this may get cancelled and I needed to find out if there needs to be any changes to my meds after some bloods which were done, so don't want to order what I normally take in case there are changes, but also don't want to be left without or run short.

My methotrexate has just been increased from 15mg to 20mg and I am now on the fortnightly blood tests for next 6 weeks, so do not know what happens if GP surgery is closed? Just 'wing and prayer' it and hope no dramatic dips in blood results. 🤞

I'm in exactly the same situation. I usually get bloods done at hospital but not sure that will happen next week 🤔

Think a lot of us are in the same situation.

I always have about two weeks in reserve - I've found from experience that pharmacies run out of stuff, I get ill and can't get out to get it, and sometimes there are other problems.

Similiar I always have a couple of weeks supply.

At my GP surgery they withheld my MTX prescription, which I ordered on the date their website said it was due, because they claimed it was ONE DAY early! Best of luck with a few weeks.
