Of course you're scared and many of us feeling more so each day. There have been a number of posts in the past few days asking very similar questions to yours.

There's the latest advice for immuno-suppressed RD suffers on the NRAS website from themselves and also the EULAR advice. It's basically saying don't stop your usual meds unless you are specifically told to do so by your Rheumy.

I have Rituximab infusions so can't stop my immune suppressing medication even if I wanted to (which I don't as it's working well for me).

So I suggest you try to stay positive and distract yourself with enjoyable things to help you stay calm.

If your doctor thinks you should stop your injections he will let you know. I am a lot older than you Pasjc, & I am on Biologics.

Most people are advised to stay on their regular medication.

I am continuing as normal, keeping well hydrated, Washing hands often,& keeping away from crowds.

I still go out for a walk most days ,& make sure I keep myself occupied either in my garden or in the house if it’s too cold in the garden.

Don’t let all the publicity alarm you. Keep in touch with your friends & family....don’t sit at home & worry...that won’t help.

Catch up on your reading....watch a film on TV..... it will take a long time for this virus to calm down.....we have to be careful...but don’t let this scare you...we are all in the same boat

I agree with AC, be advised by your doctor as they know you and they are best to advise you about your meds. It is a difficult time and we are experiencing something which is unknown, but you are not alone and people on this site are here. Take care and sending some supportive wishes out to you x

I am 67 on metoject 15mg and orencia (abatacept) inj weekly had my bloods done at my rheumy department at the hospital last week, and see my consultant next month. I have looked on the RA website and they are saying don't stop the meds. Will ring the R A helpline and see what they say when they get back to me.
