Itchy scslp

Hello everyone 😄

Anyone else with RA taking MTX Plaquenil and Folic Acid have a problem with a constant dry itchy scalp ??? It’s been going on for months now and I’ve tried so many different shampoos with no relief Any suggestions?

I had a similar problem to yours. I have a very reactive sensitive skin and found that many (nearly all) shampoos made my scalp itch. I started to follow The Curly Girl Method where you don't use shampoo at all but cleanse with conditioners instead. It sounds unlikely but it got my hair very clean and is now in the best condition it has ever been. Maybe it's worth trying?

You do have to scrub your scalp for a few minutes each time but you only need to "wash" it once
