Last night had a horrible experience woke up thrashing every part of my body. I quite often get "jumpy legs " in the evening and at night but this was something else . Has anybody had anything like this ?

Yes, I had something similar a few years back . Not as bad as you by the sound, but my legs would jump a lot, arms too, but less often, and occasionly my whole torso would jump. I had it when my RA was bad and I had awful sciatica at the same time, but don't know if that had anything to do with it as I never got to the bottom of it. Although one doctor did say that strong pain relief I was taking at the time was probably the culprit. Having those 3 issues together was an absolute nightmare!!!

Yes, I've had it for years, before I was diagnosed (but I expect I was undiagnosed for years) my partner used to complain about it. It is worse when I'm not so good, better when I'm feeling better so I assume it is RD related.

My money is on it being RD related rather than pain relief. like that doctor said. Could be inflammation affecting the nerves.
