I do this when I feel stressed and today I had a friend in USA open up finally to me about her life since I came back from US, cocktails of 'off' script drugs, partner died (overdose) then she landed in prison 4 times due to drugs. This is someone who was clean living and got caught up in script drugs when her Mum died of cancer. So a big chat letting her explain and cry with me giving lots of virtual hugs. However relief too as been trying to track her down as shewent off line so I knew something was wrong.
Then I got told I had a chance for an interview which I was delighted as head hunted. Then realisation of a bad week or two it was not ethical to go as I am not right and I need stability of job I have and though it is not quite right there at the moment, it is best to stick. 6months ago this would not have been an issue, so RD changes things.
On top of this the nausea and cramps it has been a day and a half so a bit of Elvis made me smile and glad it did for y'all too!
charisma that is so good I find writing helps keep my active brain working and releases tension. Plus I enjoy it. When I worked as a mentor for students with disabilities they would start the day with 'what's the song of the day Dee' we would come up with lyrics and just laugh as we worked. My version of car wash always had them rockin out with me!
Good we have some ways of coping! Humour is one of mine, and I have written poems on and off through my life. Got to be inspired though, by pain/sorrow/joy. Have a good day and know that rest helps too! 🤗

Hidden love this Holly made me smile today as I was saying this to hubby a month or so ago but I have cut down a lot whilst on MTX and trying to stay off pred and pregablin so now feel I am hardly taking any at the moment.
Though think flaring again as hands in bits today as over did it yesterday¬!

Nowadays I smile [Really!] evry time i remember 'my' ward where i get my RTX infusions - i don't like taped music but what do they play there, regularly? ' I FEEL IT IN MY FINGERS, I FEEL IT IN MY TOES'..... I doubled up, laughing, at last session, and said to my neighbour 'aaah' they're playing our song. He wasn't amused but then i'm prob twice his age LOL xx
Absolutely!! or, since i'm in alicante for a little heat [ish] 'exactamente'. Retirement has its perks, tho' not sure how long i can continue... at 77, and he's 80 soon :).
