Hi, this is my first message so apologies if this question has been asked before.
I have several physical and Mental health issues classed as ‘complex case’.
My main problem is that trying to get help and treatment for myself is a complete nightmare, frustrating and often unsuccessful.
If I want help for my physical problems (autoimmune conditions, sjogren's syndrome menieres-disease etc) the ‘Physical Health camp’ decide they can’t get funding due to my ‘mental health issues’ and of course vice versa. I therefore just stay in this cycle of being referred and turned down accomplishing nothing but frustration and worsening of my conditions.
I suppose to sum up has anybody managed to find a solution to this or advise how to get the help I need. I used to have a very GP who was very at resolving this but as most good doctors had major burn out and retired.

I'm so sorry you appear not to be getting the help and support you need Crazydog. As I have mentioned in most of my replies to posts today, we are one body and we should be treated holistically. So be it physical, mental or both it shouldn't matter. It feels like there are different 'purses/ budgets' and money, red tape, petty politics etc can get in the way of what people need for their health. I know it happens between hospitals, GP's and other health care...as in whose budget is this going to come out of. So I do hope you get some answers and the support you need. I'm sorry I can't be of more help but wanted to show some support. Take care.
Hi Maddog, I understand your frustration very well. The system is based on dissected parts and don’t see us as a whole, therefore they don’t understand the correlation between the different parts of the body. Write down all your symptoms both physical and mental and research. Research on doctors who practice in ecological medicine, as mainstream doctors are not trained to look and connect the cluster of symptoms that most people are facing.
You will find lots of advice and help. Perhaps you can start by looking at your diet, keeping it simple by eating lots of vegetables and fruits, brown rice Drink water. Develop meal plans for your self and keep a record of what works or not.
Thanks , i’m in the process now i’ve trying to get relevant parties involved. Its just a daily grind of getting brick walled constantly and chasing up on ‘promises’
I follow a pretty limited vegan fodmap diet due to intolerance issues and trying to control digestive problems which I am very strict with otherwise become very unwell.
Sorry so short it is late and still have few things to do, Polly my dog is callung me too and don’t want her stressed as she suffers seizures! Handful 🙄
