Full Body Bone Scan to check in Progression?

Had a full body bone scan with Nuclear medicine injection, I lit up like a Christmas tree, hands, wrists, elbows, spine, pelvis, feet 🤦🏻‍♀️ so glad I changed consultants as all I ever got with the old one for the last 7 years was to continue taking MTX & Hydroxy, now to wait for the full report 😬🤞🏼

That’s great I know it’s not good news in the sense you’ve got RD every where but now you can be treated properly

Hiya Jill. Sorry to hear you set the scan alight but pleased someone is taking you seriously. So you're not with Dr J anymore, is it the new Rheumy you've changed to, the one who's replaced Dr R? It was a Registrar I'd not had before that I saw last time so I've not seen him yet though he did go ask him what he'd to do re my meds. Nice new Nurses though, one female, one male...it was her who told me Dr R had resigned. PM me then we can discuss further. x

Hi Jillybean, I had one at diagnosis and also lit up like a Christmas tree! Yours is definitely in keeping with the festivities but sorry your RA is misbehaving. Hopefully now they can actually see it, they’ll get you on the right treatment and start off 2020 in a better way.
