I'm sorry you're in so much pain. Have you had this kind of pain before? Do you have pain medications on hand? What do you usually take? I guess you've already tried heat and/or cold. Rest. Meditation is wonderful to get through bad pain. But when pain is severe, you really do need proper pain relief and serious pain medications. Are you able to see your GP?

I can only reiterate what others have said, to see your GP or speak to your rheumy nurse as they are best qualified to investigate why your arms hurt. You don't say if it is the joints or the muscles that are causing you pain?

Please do contact your consultant as they could give you meds to help with the pain - pain impacts everything - I was grateful for the prednisone to get me moving and numb the pain. Take care now - Hessie 😌

Sounds like a flare. Call dr and see if you can get short course of steroids.

They really do work like magic for RA flares.

Trick is to make sure you do not stay on them for months and months!
