Fingers

These are my fingers and palms and other hand just as bad- does anyone else get this? Does it look like psoriasis?

first appointment 10th Sept I cannot wait! USED to be excited for a holiday or a Take That gig now ecited about a rheumy appointment....hahaha

Lol....you should get some PSORISOFT BALSAM - for psoriasis skin care to hold over till you get to see your rheumy...ps does she give you a lolly pop for being a brave girl.?

If it were me I would not want my hands to improve too much until your rhematologist sees them. Can you manage 'till then ?

I had pre RA a steroid cream and nothing worked only prednislone after being diagnosed RA. So yes trying to stay off all remedies apart from vaseline and olive oil to keep them calm till 9th.

It could also possibly be contact dermatitis. I've had something similar looking on my hands pre RA and that's what it was, it was very sore, GP prescribed some cream and it cleared up (can't remember what). Hope it's better soon, keep some photos for your rheumy appointment just in case though.

He has seen but he thinks RA side effect but even he has said wait till rheumy appointment as he is desperately trying to keep me off anything that will stop rheumy seeing me in full flight flare!

Olive oil is good (vit.E) but Aloe Vera plant is the best. Everyone of us should have at home to cut fresh and use it. I hope it's not psoriasis but allergy from dish detergent or other household cleaning agents.
